Welcome to The Heritage Ensemble website!   As we enter our twelfth year of choral
excellence in the community, we cannot help but stop and reect upon our histoy -- how
we began, what has sustained us, the continuing commitment of our singing membership
and Board of Directors, and continual community support.  All of these keep us
committed to our mission statement and guide the music that we perform.  The
beautifl, poignant melodies that we share with you in concert have sustained a people --
healed wounds, built bridges between alI people.

Whether we are performing in the venues of our community, throughout the Midwest,
Carnegie Hall, or Paris Texas (the birth place of our Artistic director), we perform with
dignity and pride the music born out of the African American experience that has helped
to shaped our nation.
